ABOUT THE MVCC

A SOCIAL & CULTURAL HUB OF THE VALLEY
MISSION STATEMENT:  
Caring for our Community...Preserving our Past. 
The Methow Valley Community Center is a place for arts, education and well-being for the people of the Methow Valley and preserves the historical essence of the Twisp School.

Located on Highway 20 in the town of Twisp, Washington, the MVCC is at the hub of Methow Valley and the welcome center for visitors exploring the Methow Valley. Housed in the former Twisp School building built in 1912,  the MVCC celebrated its 100 years of service to our community and is actively planning for another century of service.

THE METHOW VALLEY COMMUNITY CENTER ASSOCIATION is a 501(c)4 not-for-profit organization that depends on your membership dues to help keep the center running. Since 1978 local volunteers have revitalized this well-loved icon of the Methow Valley. METHOW RECYCLES

Methow Recycles and the MVCC have 
collaborated on this program for ten years! Proceeds from recycling of 
aluminum cans deposited in the "Community Center" bin at Methow Recycles help to support the MVCC.  In exchange, MVCC encourages volunteers to help out at Methow Recycles.  How's that for a 2-fer?
